Colours have changed - No idea why!
Re: Colours have changed - No idea why!
Yep, I wanted to show how far out the colours are.
Anyway, screen grabs attached of my printer settings, I have changed the quality from High to Standard which has had no affect on the colours, obviously.

I really am at a loss now.
All I've ever done is convert the image I have made to the correct colour profile and then printed using the above settings, I then save the image to include the colour profile so I don't have to convert each time I need to print. The only thing it can be is GIMP itself in that its not doing the conversion correctly maybe? I am on the latest version 2.10.34

Re: Colours have changed - No idea why!
To be honest, that colour variation looks so far out that I would suspect blocked nozzles, maybe from the yellow ink. Have you done a recent nozzle check?

Are you 100% sure gimp is actually saving the profile - I don't know gimp but can you open the image in another document and check that the profile has been saved and applied?
Re: Colours have changed - No idea why!
As per my original thread I have been printing these for years without having to make any changes. The profile has been saved with the image, but I've also re-made the image and gone through the whole process from scratch to check whether it was something in the image and it has made no difference at all.
I cant claim to be a GIMP expert but this points at a software related issue, just wish I knew what and where.

What inks came with the printer?
have you got access to a laptop you can run a test print through?
Your missing something in your settings somewhere.
for it to change and then be the same on a new printer too sounds like you have accidentally changed something.
