Re: Anyone tried Epson L18100 yet
The Epson inks come in bottles with a clever nozzle on top that fits the chambers, very neat.....until you use them for sublimation lol. I think you can buy empty bottles for some printers with the nozzles on?
Re: Anyone tried Epson L18100 yet
I have two nearly identical Epson printers (not sublimation) a 2710 and a 3111 from Europe. Both use the same ink set and ink type but both use different bottles that aren't cross compatible. The 2710 uses 104 and the 3111 uses 103 which is harder to get as a non epson ink in the UK - threw my bottle away when I first filled it.

pw66 is correct the bottles have what looks like a special connector for each colour https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOMldLwbaGc maybe you can fill with syringes!
I have been looking online but unable to find UK supplier for the ink let alone a profile to suit. Also been trying to find out what Printhead it has as Inctec-europe has ink for DX4 or DX5 heads.
I think to be safe will have to get the older L1800 at least profile, inks etc will be no problem to get.

I have purchased one recently and ink experts now sell the ink package + icc profile. Will update as to how i've gotten on with these if anyone is interested?
Re: Anyone tried Epson L18100 yet
I got the printer from ink express. Still having issues with the colours blue/green and have tried pretty much everything I can think of. Have ordered paper and ink from Ink Experts to see if the ICC profile there is an improvement. Ink Experts haven't got the printer listed yet though - just inks/profile

OK. yes, I rememebr they were running down stocks of the L1800 before starting to sell the L18100. Tests must have worked, not heard any more from them about the print though.
Re: Anyone tried Epson L18100 yet
Can confirm the Ink Experts ICC has worked beautifully! I'd been feeling rather deflated that I was doing something incredibly wrong. Can't wait to start creating!
