Re: Polo Shirt + Club Crest Options

Post by chet »

Hi all,

I've had a request from my local club to see if I can provide Polo Shirts with their club crest and also the initials of the player.

Just wondering what my options could be for both the crest and initials and which would look the best

Outsource for embroidery or either DTF or HTV, if either of these, where would you suggest to get them from.

Think I'm going to go with BTC Activewear for the Polo's

Thanks,

Martyn

All are options, as is solvent printed HTV for multi colour designs. Also - assuming you have a sublimation printer and a cutter then something like Sisers Easy Subli would work for multi colour. Names are best with htv.
The world is your lobster, so a lot will depend on what your customer wants to spend.

What BTC polo's are you using? Beware of their own brand UCC stuff - very oversized with baggy sleeves.

Personally I like Kustom Kit (we used to have them for staff uniforms at toys r us back in the day and when you wear a polo for a whole day every day you learn what is good and what isnt)

As a good day to day workwear polo ProRTX is as good as anything at £3.30, but BTC don't stock that brand. Russel are well made but very expensive. I don't rate Gildan quality wise and some Kustom Kit/Gamegear tend to pill abit after a few washes. The Fruit of the Loom heavy weight poly/cotton is ok but expensive - stear clear of the lighter weight version.
