Re: Mug suppliers

Post by mr-gobby »

Anyone got opinions on mug suppliers. Previously used Xpres 10oz, nice mugs, occasionally have an out of shape or marked one though generally been okay however not done them in a while so looking at some options. Seen ink experts do some mugs with boxes too and also see their press online looks like the MDP one too. I couldn't find any reviews on either so wondered if any and also i should renew my membership if I'm back here again!

thanks guys

Ordered couple boxes of mugs form Xpres Friday and are coming today, just had email advising that there were 'production' boxes of mugs available, noticed they were a lower price for min 2 boxes or by half or whole pallets so online messaged asking what's the difference, all I could get in response was they were 'value' mugs, did ask did that mean not as straight/round etc but didn't get reply :) so who knows but sharing in case anyone wants them as they are pre covid priced at abut £36 a box

As the DPD driver came up the drive with my mugs, the start of this film came to mind, just got to love Jim Carey! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YrpmZFixp0

Lol yep same here I always have at least 1 broken mug per box.
sometimes if I’m lucky I get a whole layer smashed.

my record so far is 22 mugs in one box which was two weeks ago, mdp do refund the broken mugs though so it’s no big deal as long as you have enough to cover a job.
mine always have big dirty boot marks on them as if they have been used as a ladder.
