Sell it, swap it, buy it....give it away!

Anyone selling a wide format printer?

Tempted to get back into textile printer and looking what's around, F6300, Mutoh, Mimaki etc.

Will also need another rotary calendar press.

Yes I saw one last night, Chinese import and seller has made an upgrade to it, I can get cheaper from China (plus shipping) but would prefer to source UK.

Ours is the same as a German branded Heatjet, but is branded by a USA company. Made in South Korea.

We have had the HeatJet previously. I did find the German supplier a few years back and they were considerably cheaper going direct.....will have another look.

Did you import yours?

No, picked it up silly cheap on ebay (about £600 iirc) was a company who made dog beds, who wanted to start doing personalised stuff. They'd printed one duvet cover with it, and then it sat in corner of their factory for 10 years gathering dust. So essentially brand new.

RA Smart been good for parts and advice, and found a local company that does electro/mechanical serving for maintenance.
Had to replace main drive motor, as the USA one was for 60hz and burnh out on 50hz electric

So we found a large format pneumatic which would suit our needs perfectly.....just trying to work the seller which is easier said than done! :-) Still considering a rotary press but the large format would be good.
