well quick update
got the printer today :O
its huge lol i've had to re-arrange everything on the boat to find somewhere for it to sit
don't think the wifes too happy now lol
transfered all the ink from my S21 into the new printer and ran loads of pictures just to flush any old ink through

took a while for it to print properly but got there in the end after a few hours of playing and syringing
and 10 mins later had an order for a mug come thru from eBay woo hoo
so it was a good trial
tested a couple out on some coasters first just to check the colours etc
and yep no profile needed everything looked good
although it was a very basic design

i'll have a play tom with a more detailed image and see how it comes out

still noticed some grainy effect though especially on the red
but it might be my images again not too sure
i think i'll print out a high def pic tom and see what it looks like

it seems to be a big expanse off colour, i printed out a heart tonight and it looked ok but just not a gorgeous colour i would expect.

but generally very happy and loads quieter

well it was working lol
today i went to have a play with the colours and the red isn't printing hardly at all
i have tried a clean and printed loads of sheets out to try and clear it with no joy
so i've just ordered one of them cleaning kits off ebay
hopefully that'll clear it
i reckon there's either an air bubble or a head is blocked

ink everywhere now apart from on the paper lol

well i just cleaned my heads with some stuff i got off ebay
i'd recommend it as it was brill
a quick head clean by the printer after i'd finished and wam bam thank you mam
instant gorgeous images coming through with no heads missing a beat

but...... i will say tho that image you sent paul
i printed that out and generally it looks pretty good
hard to tell until i press it obviously as the colours are dull
but still on the solid colours it seems grainy

i'll have to press it in a bit and report back

but i'm a happy chappy now i got the printer working

this is the stuff off ebay

Are you printing on TruPix paper yet? The grainy image might be as a result of the paper.

well just done a mug with the new paper etc
and its still come out grainy
but it tends to be just the red for some reason

i have played about with it in photoshop re-colouring it etc to no avail

i think i'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy some more better ink
