Hey guys
I got a SC-F500, thinking it would be the dogs bollocks due to the price.
The problem is it prints pretty dull on all the paper types I try.
Trying to print onto cotton using the powder but the print comes out to dry and dull and the powder wont stick to the print.
Mugs are pretty dull too. I do get slightly better results on polyester but not as vibrant as I have seen.
I am assuming I haven't set it up right in the setting so wondering if anyone has any tips on the settings I should be using
both in the printer and Serif affinity photo and designer.
Any help on this would be a blessing as it's almost out the window, pretty disappointed so far for such an expensive printer.
Thanks

Re: SC-F500 quality issues looking for settings that might help
hi,
Your problem is the powder and what you want to do.
You are trying to print on cotton. For this you need special paper, I presume you already have it. now you will need special options that will print VERY fast and with very saturated ink on paper. this will make powder to stick. Issue is, f500 is not designed for this.
regarding dull prints in general I found there is no good paper to us eon fabrics as I also cant get vibrant blacks and other dark colours with paper on roll. If I use high release paper in sheets then yes, it's all lovely.
