Xpres new prices have gone live and now they are MORE expensive that other suppliers by quite a lot on most items so either all other suppliers will up prices or Xpres will start to lose market share surely.

Ps: Please note I would NOT recommend posting prices from other suppliers to compare with Xpres as TWICE I have discussed lower prices with Xpres and told them where we bought from and TWICE that supplier has suddenly upped their prices to match Xpres. Some dirty tactics go on behind the scenes in my opinion!

...and still no online price for 5013 mugs!

I'm just getting our stock order together, huge stock availability issues as expected with certain products. What is amazing me is the difference between suppliers. One item I found for £98 on Xpres, same item with another supplier £67!! One of the big name suppliers selling for £140!

At these prices you can see why so many small companies just buy from suppliers and sell on!

Just had a quick look at some of the products we use this end, going to have to rise our prices again with customers or take the hit until the new year then rise across the board. But, with another price rise coming to start off 2023, it is looking bad.

With regard to Xpres saying "there is a problem with stock control" with the hidden price of 5013 mugs then I personally believe this is rubbish. I have heard over three excuses now but quite simply the proof is shown in this screen shot where you can clearly see that someone has "manually" altered the pricing field of this product by typing in those words thinking that the will add in a line break (which only worked on the product page but not the product listing page). This is NOT something that is an error of the software they use for the web site but someone at Xpres has manually typed that in. Why do they want to hide price? Maybe to hide from other suppliers or to get potential customers to phone up as a sales tactic? Anyone else have thoughts? Also anyone know what a box of mugs is now (before DSF discount)?

We're now switching suppliers. Very brave of Xpres to have open days this week. We weren't even aware they were doing that.....not like I run a forum or anything lol.

Temporary move on mug suppliers whilst we talk to another about pricing.

Maybe the price is just very fluid at the moment? Sterling weak effects prices all along the supply and logistics chain. Maybe xpres are waiting to see how much the next batch actually costs them, and trying to match current price to the future price.
