Ricoh geljets sublimation printing warning

Hi all, My daughter uses 2 ricohs, an SG3110 and an SG 7100.
Recently she has had real problems with them.
After a lot of investigation, it seems that Ricoh changed the drivers in December 2021 and this stopped them working with sublimation inks.
I have tried them with 2 different printers, Linux and Windows,and sawgrass and inkexpert inks.
Even the Sawgrass Powerdriver and profiles are not working.
The only way to fix it was to roll back the Linux drivers to the pre december2021 drivers.
After which they now work perfectly.

So if you have a Windows PC don't update your drivers.

On Linux, and probably Mac as well, the printing system and drivers are updated automatically with OS updates.
So Windows drivers are probably OK as long as you don't manually update them.
