Re: Windows 11 Anyone?
Has anyone upgraded to Windows 11 yet and if so is everything working correctly from profiles to printers? Also, does it maintain all the previous settings such as ICC profiles and fonts?

Re: Windows 11 Anyone?
I always work on the advice.... If it aint broken don't try to fix it.
Learned the hard way years back when i upgraded from XP to windows 8.
Not an issue i want to repeat again so ill wait until a year down the line until i upgrade.
What are you going to gain updating?
Sorry mate it's not really any help lol

Re: Windows 11 Anyone?
Some of my older software struggles with Windows 10 so I am going to give windows 11 a miss.
Having said that I am about to replace the wifes laptop (which will probably end up as W11) so that I can have her old Windows 8 one as a spare.

I also develop software and so need to upgrade to Windows 11 to ensure software is fully compatible but been holding off as not sure how it will affect printer drivers e.t.c
Re: Windows 11 Anyone?
I have company laptops running on 11 - they aren't upto scratch in terms of correct CPU or TPM2 but are running OK- only thing not working is the fingerprint readers, which is a shame, but not a big deal.
Not risked upgrading one of the proper computers that needs to do anything important

Re: Windows 11 Anyone?
I've done it!! After drinking too much caffeine yesterday and feeling overly confident nothing would balls up then I decided at around 1pm Friday to press the Windows 11 "Download and Install" button!!! Well, I got the annoying "downloading 100%" status which didn't disappear and I Google'd to find out that this is a typical error so I unplugged all USB devices and restarted laptop. I then pressed "re-install" and about an hour later everything was back up and running. I've come into work today to fix a printer and print some items off to see if drivers and profiles are still installed and YES!!! All seems fine and dandy. So far. So I'm glad I waited until the second update to Windows 11 came out which apparently has fixed lots of previous problems and so far no driver problems. Phew!

Just to say that everything is smoother, quicker and no problems printing to any printer using existing drivers having moved from Windows 10 to 11 on a whim last week!
