We use an Epson ET-2750 for day to day photographic sublimation and whilst it's slow it works extremely well for us. We do use A3 Epson printers but run everything through a print management software called QImage which gives superb results.

I took delivery of a faulty 31010DN from ebay (took a punt on it) and glad to say it's paid off. Stuck in 4 cleaning cartridges and ran a wash from the SP menu.
New refill carts put back in and it's perfect (so far).

This is not sustainable going forward. It looks like Epson is going to have to be the option going forward.

Leaning toward a 2850 via Ink Experts. I have Mirage rip for my a2 Epson but probably not much use for A4, don't really want to go down the A3 sub route. Seems odd that Sawgrass would isolate a whole section of users with their approach to profiles but their loss is Epson's gain.

Can you tell me why can't you run it with the custom ich profile? It sounds strange to me that this printer cant is used with ICC.

Lots of threads on here about this but basically they restricted firmware so it will print crap unless you go through Sawgrass Print Manager. We returned three of these printers as soon as we found out and others done the same.
