Can anyone help?
I have a Ricoh Aficio GX e3300n dye sub printer - old I know, but it has been a reliable old workhorse, until now.
Came up with error code 975 - power off on - yesterday. I have googled this and found an answer on another forum which I just can't make sense of, seems to refer to ink tank being full. Ricoh want to send an engineer out and the original supplier of the printer is on holiday (I'm not having much luck!). I don't really fancy the Ricoh engineer cost for an old printer if I can fix it myself. If it's knackered, I'd rather spend the money on an upgrade.
Anybody have any bright ideas?

While you can clean out an ink collector (see 3rd link below), I personally (through experience!) prefer to replace the tank with a new one.

The ink collection was replaced, not cleaned, and was working prior to this error message
