Re: Which Ink - Inkexperts or cityinkexpress?

Post by Orangeoctopus »

Just purchased a 6 ink Epson L1800, it just needs converting to sub.

Will be using it mainly for HD prints on metal panels.

The above 2 suppliers seem to be the most popular.

Cityinkexpress seems significantly more expensive.

who's sub inks are you using?

Also please put the the brand of sub paper you are using with the ink.

Many thanks Paul

Go with a company selling a known brand of ink, rather than their own branded version, so you know what you are actually buying, both now and in the future, and so you aren't tied to one sole supplier ... a brand like InkTec's Sublinova would be a good example and is available from many suppliers.

Plus one for sublinova. Doesn't cost much more than own brand and above else you get consistancy from one supplier to the next.
Great colours too, and doesn't clog the printheads if you don't print for a few weeks.
