Hello Brains Trust,
As you can see from the thread title, I've got an old model printer. I'm running it on Mac OS. Bought the printer secondhand many years ago and was working well until the last ten or so runs. It's now consistently printing magenta lines after getting progressively worse. Standard head-cleaning and maintenance won't solve it, and it appears no official Ricoh service outlet will touch this printer (presumably because it's an old model). Does anyone have any advice how to solve this issue? TIA.
(PS: I'm in Queensland, Australia. If anyone knows of a local outlet who'll look at this for me, please pass on any details).

Sounds like the head may have failed, but it might just be the ink cleaning unit has a build-up of ink.
