Re: Printing Sublimation in Linux
Anyone print form a Linux (pref. Mint) OS? I'm interested in seeing if I can get the same Epson print settings as on Windows.

OK, I think I'm getting somewhere for anyone that may be interested in this. I've installed Qimage and the prints get sent from there into TurboPrint. This software uses the icc profile. I've made a few adjustments and prints so far look better than from the Win PC (Photoshop)

Re: Printing Sublimation in Linux
Just finished resurrecting an SG7100 and got it working with Linux, which was although it was quite difficult, in fact it was actually easier than getting it working with Windows.
Had to download the drivers from Ricoh Japan, for the IPSIO SG7100.
It is now printing from Ubuntu, using the ink experts ICC profile, which I set up in Gnome-color-manager.

So the Sawgrass printers can be printed to from the standard Ricoh driver?

I can't be sure of that. The SG7100 is a Ricoh A3 printer.pisquee;150180 wrote:So the Sawgrass printers can be printed to from the standard Ricoh driver?
Originally Sawgrass used Ricoh printers, but I believe they make their own now, or have them made for them.
They use their own firmware at least.
My daughter uses Sawgrass inks in her Ricoh SG3110.
Both the SG3110 and the SG7100 are discontinued,
Re: Printing Sublimation in Linux
Ah, yes, my lack of Ricoh/Sawgrass knowledge showing - I saw the model number beginning with SG and presumed they were the Sawgrass versions of the Ricoh printers.
I'd be very surprised if the Sawgrass versions of the Ricoh printers can't be printed to from the Ricoh drivers, or 'hacked' in some way of putting the original Ricoh firmware on them.
