Have you done a nozzle check and head clean?TippyToes;149479 wrote:My ICC was just a 'right click, install' thingy, and that's it. I just installed GIMP, the second oldest Epson driver (in case the newest was the problem) and the icc on a fresh desktop (not connected to WiFi so it couldn't do any sneaky updates) and still the colours are wrong.
I am on the verge of buying a new printer. Strangely I left it unplugged overnight and there was a noticeable difference in tone for absolutely no reason I can fathom.
Printer suddenly not recognising ICC profile?!

Re: Printer suddenly not recognising ICC profile?!
I did a nozzle check which was fine so I didn't do a head clean, but from the way it's printing certain images it is definitely a colour management issue rather then a colour missing. There's too much yellow in most things but blue tones are printing awfully too, just like they do without an ICC applied at all. However, I did print the same image with and without the ICC applied and there was a big difference so it's doing *something*

Sounds like the printer might be at the end of its useful life.
I’m going to say maybe time for a new one but others may have ideas on this too?
