it's a great idea. We keep a file for every regular job we do for one customer, swatches of the vinyls used and the re-order reference, sizes and so on. Might just get one of these as well

I don't keep swatches, but only because I keep the name of what I purchased and where from, for example, if I do a job using Siser Hi 5 then that gets recorded. If the customer comes back 2 years later then I know what brand etc they had, if the manufacturer changes the tone or discontinues the colour there is naff all I can do about it, swatch or no swatch
I find recording the supplier of the blanks in sublimation is one of the key factors. We all know that a mug from LW will print different to an XPRES mug even if everything else is exactly the same.
