Its me again!
I'm just trying to get my head around ICC profiles, if they are required or not and are the profiles for the ink or paper.
I have Sublisure EP ink and able to download the ICC profiles from here https://sublisure.co.uk/support/icc-profiles/
Over at Ink Experts they have ICC profiles at a cost, this has confused me somewhat, could an expert clear this up for me please.
Thanks

Re: ICC Profiles
Ideally you do need ICC profiles as it will improve the colour accuracy of the item you are printing. The free one from the ink supplier will most likely suffice for now. As you get more and more in to sublimation then you may want to consider a bespoke profile if you think it is necessary. Download the profile and print something out.
Please note that a print prepared for sublimation will not look like a print to put on the wall. The colours might look a mile out. Don't worry, press the print anyway as it changes colours on the item.
You might want to do yourself a favour and pop down your local fabric shop and get a few meters of white polyester fabric to use for testing.

USING: Whatever it takes to get the job done...
Re: ICC Profiles
Thank-you, I will take your advise and will also get some polyester fabric to have a practice on.
Thanks.
Thanks.
