What is everyones views on continued mask wearing in their premises?
I am sticking with it as a condition of entry for customers and visitors, and I will be wearing one.
Not so much worried about covid - I have had it twice - but if I have to self isolate then I am out of pocket for two weeks earnings and overheads, and risk customers going elsewhere.

I don't have any premises but as a free man I will be boycotting anywhere that insists on me wearing a muzzle. They are a health risk to the wearer and are useless against passing on this so-called Sars-CoV-2 'virus.'

Try this: take a pair of spectacles and breathe on the lenses. They fog up, right?

Now, pull on a face nappy and do it again. Same result.

Now pull on 5 face nappies ... Convinced yet?

Im with you fella.
Wear it or get no entry.

There’s a lot of these scaremongering idiots about that don’t believe in masks.
It’s the same people that buy the shit lanyards from eBay and fake they have a disease.

To me it’s like parking in a disabled space when there’s nothing wrong with you.
Fu**ing disgrace to humanity.

Oh dear never mind I’m sure your custom will be missed.

You do realise the whole point of the mask is to protect OTHERS not you.
so buy not wearing one you are putting my family at risk which makes you a selfish ****.

Fair enough. So please tell me how a mask that lets everything through IN BOTH DIRECTIONS protect ANYONE?

(Apologies for the capitals. Not shouting at you, just making my point).

I don't really want to get involved with those that refuse to wear such a simple and effective means of stopping the spread of a virus, but using terms like "muzzle" and "face nappy" basically proves that you can not have a sensible discussion with this type of person.

A mask is not there to eliminate the virus, but one of several measures to help reduce the spread. I am sure you have seen the meme travelling around that shows a bloke taking a wee. If you haven't I suggest the following:

Ask a friend who needs a wee to take aim at you while wearing no underwear
Now ask another friend (unless the first friend has a large bladder) to do the same but this time with underwear

There is a huge difference in the amount of wee that will land on you. Trust me or try it. So the debate about their effectiveness is null and void.

I personally have signs up that state no mask, no entry. I have had an increase in footfall while at the same time weeding out those that I really do not want to engage with.

'Wee,' as you call it, is not an airborne vapour, so that argument fails at the first hurdle.

As for your signs I've no problem with them, everyone is entitled to free choice after all. My choice would be not to enter your premises and go elsewhere.

No offence, but I think I would rather believe eminent scientists from across the globe than you. If you want to kid yourself then fine, I did very very well out of lock down so am not particularly fussed it we end up in it again, death toll increases aside of course.

Seriously this is silly. People have individual views on things no need to be kids.
All depends how silly and into things you wanna go. In my view.
My local cafe takes cash and just bundles it into the till with no cleaning of coins or notes. The cash is then given out as change to the next person and put into wallets, pockets and bags, where phones are also kept. So in theory getting the "virus" is going to happen to everyone sooner or later.
Cash machines no-one wipes them down. I use royal mail drop and go. but others use the chip and pin. you can tap 10 times or so then have to enter your pin. No-one wipes down the machines regularly.
Ffs I go to my local Doctors and some receptionist is handing out facemasks out a massive box! HANDING OUT!!!!!!

But from a business point of view recently my biggest seller is an unmasked t-shirt. I dont care, I will take anyones money! Business is business. Tho i do use common sense. My unit is small so i make customers stand outside while we deal with them. and use common sense. Something People lack.
