Re: White marks on mugs
I am having this issue on almost every mug in different places mostly along the bottom. I am unsure if this is the mugs or the machine. If it was the machine I would have thought it would be in the same place every time?

Re: White marks on mugs
It looks to me like a chip in the coating And it hasn’t taken the sublimation.
that’s why the mugs still white and the dark patch on the paper.
I have had this after the mugs were thrown around in transit.

I am not sure if it is visible, not without close inspection anyway. This has been a lot over the space of different boxes and deliveries.

Re: White marks on mugs
Seems obvious to me that the deep pink/red mark on your print exactly coincides with the white problem area on the mug.
What printer, inks and paper are you using? What press?

I assumed this was the transfer after printing?webtrekker;148698 wrote:Seems obvious to me that the deep pink/red mark on your print exactly coincides with the white problem area on the mug.

Ah yes, you're probably right Justin. I just wish posters would give more information to help solve their problems.Justin;148699 wrote:I assumed this was the transfer after printing?

Re: White marks on mugs
Surely it would be noticeable on the print before pressing if it was the printer or media?

Re: White marks on mugs
Ok, please answer this: Was that second image (of the paper print) taken BEFORE or AFTER pressing? Thank you.leehilton90;148687 wrote:I am having this issue on almost every mug in different places mostly along the bottom. I am unsure if this is the mugs or the machine.
