Epson L3111 reddish tint?

hello,
we've just started using a sublimation printer (Epson L3111) and some of the photographs we're printing (to put onto mugs) are coming out with a reddish tint over the shadows?
Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
We're using the Gimp software along with the Epson printer.
