Hey i'm looking to replace a printer i use for making badges. I have a laser printer at the min. (brother hl-l3210cw)
I had a epson A4 eco tank printer for sublimation and upgraded to the ET1400. And cant fault these at all.
Would it be worth or just as good getting a Eco tank printer ET-2710 for normal printing than a laser printer as specs seem to suggest it can print far more than laser printers and also cheaper to replace the inks.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

Re: Laser printer V Epson Eco tank
Do you mean traditional button badges, or do you mean heat pressed garment logos?
The ET 2710 will be good for the former. Colours on mine are quite good.
For garment logos I'm not so sure. Pigment ink is better than dye ink because it washes better. You might have clogging issues if you change the ink and you could need an ICC profile.
