Is the freesub 4050 a good heat press for the money

I have one and it’s a decent press, but the auto release is a bit violent :wink:
Email mdp and ask if they have any ex display models for a discount.

I got my mug press and 4050 this way and saved a fortune.
It’s a big old press and heavy too.

ok will give them a message and ask them if they have a ex display one. has it got a auto pressure on it or something hasn't it

It has adjustable hand screw pressure as do others but it also has a pneumatic pressure which makes a difference.

You can set the pressure on the keypad and store different heat settings and timbers with different pressures.
I have settings for HTV, Coasters and others all different times, temps and pressures.

thats handy to no like the idea of setting different temps and pressures for jobs all by the touch or a button

It says 18kg but I’m sure it’s more like 80kg

is the heat nice and even in the corners and the centre of the press as in same temp all over

Yes seems to be good so far.
not had it a year yet so not sure about reliability.

They replied to me four times today already so not sure why they haven’t to you?
customer service is second to none from mdp.
