Is sublimation last forever? How about If I spray polymer coat on my own ceramic mug?

Hi,
I have questions about sublimation coating on hard substrate.

If I sublimate on polymer mug, I heard it will be forever.
However I wonder what if I put the mug outside, and if it get direct sunlight all day.
Will it be faded?

How about, If I coat polymer liquid on my own ceramic mugs?
Will it be forever too?

I purchased polymer liqueid on Amazon, and they recommend to applying a topcoat of uv protection like Rust-Oleum 2x Ultra cover spray paint.
And I wonder what will be happen If I don't apply a topcoat.

Please share your experience if you have tried it.

Thank you.

Pay the money and buy professionaly coated blanks. You have enough to worry about getting your print spot on than messing with coating blanks too.

Thank you.
It might be covered in bird poo.

Long term exposure to the sun can effect anything, given time. Is it likely to be left outside all day?
If you are trading on a market then it is always best to use a canopy to protect your goods and yourself.

You are only going to save pennies and spend time by coating your own product.

There are ceramic mugs and planters that I can't buy professionally coated.
So It is not option for me. I just wonder how long sublimation will last on coated mug.

I will sublimate mugs/planter for customers. and I don't know if they will get full sun or not.
I just wanted to know if sublimation will faded or not in case they get all day full sunlight.

There are special shape of mug/planters that I can't get professionally coated.
Thank you.

Thank you.
