I'm looking for someone capable of cutting down Chromaluxe sheets into custom shapes to a high standard. I came across this technical sheet about cutting by cnc. But I've read that other companies can use laser cutting which I thought would melt the coating?

I could try local engineering companies, but this seems to require specialist tools.

Re: Chromaluxe Cutting
Sublimetals are a major supplier of custom-cut aluminium sheets. I believe they use CNC machines so I'd probably go down the CNC route myself.

Re: Chromaluxe Cutting
Sublimetals can't cut 1.1 metal. Chipped edges and hacked off guillotine corners are bit unprofessional looking. I need Unisub standard of cutting.
Re: Chromaluxe Cutting
You can laser cut, and it leaves a melted residue around the cut, which needs some elbow grease to remove (alcohol wipes help too)
It also leaves a sharp/burred edge around the cut which needs sanding/buffing down
