Re: Photoshop and Win 7 ...

Post by webtrekker »

It seems that the latest monthly licensed versions of Photoshop CC are no longer supported on Win 7 machines. Even the 2019CC version is now reporting a missing .dll file on my Win 7 computer and will not run. To add salt to the wound, Adobe no longer lets you roll back to a previous version that works. Luckily, I can still run my old CS5 version, but obviously it doesn't have the latest features.

Obviously, the answer would be to 'upgrade' my machine to Win 10, as directed by Adobe, but I'm not keen on doing that as I have a lot of software that works fine on Win 7 but will not run properly on Win 10 (I've tried most of it on my Win10 machine). So it seems like these cloud apps really aren't worth the money and may let you down when you need them most.
