I'm not saying that I'm an expert or anything like that ................ it's going to take a few more months for that (lol), but this is just to show that with an idea and a little creativity some great designs can be done with vinyl and overlaying vinyl (colour on colour).

I have just put a few in an album that I just did for a local dance competition.

And the reason posting this is not because I'm touting for work but to show there's more life for vinyl than just one colour text statements (not that I'm against this at all) ................. your imagination is your only limitation (I have this in my shop!).

As much room as you make mate to be totally honest.

I have two cutters, a large press, two a3 printers, one a4 printer, a cap press, a mug press a fridge, a kettle, loads of stock ............... all crammed into a workable area in our shop!

You basically need enough room to work a press and then a cutter. I often use the old and trusted craft robo which is very small, but effective - bit like a mini!

If your anchor is big, could you not downsize it for a smaller one to give you a little more room? (sorry mate, couldn't resist that one).

For vinyl you send an outlined image (or do this in the software with the cutter) to the cutter. The cutter then cuts this out of vinyl and you peel away the unwanted area of vinyl leaving your design which you press onto whatever you wish.

When I first started off mate I spent about 3 months watching videos on youtube and got to know the process inside out without actually having purchased anything. When I did get the stuff it took me minutes to send something and cut it as I knew what should be done.

Get them vids watched mate, it's the best source of info out there!

I'm in the process of trying out a new inkjet transfer paper (for light fabric). I'll let you all know how I got on once I've printed and washed a T shirt

An update on the new transfer paper, a big no no it felt horrible on the t shirt the instructions called for cold peel, when I did this the eges came out ragged, hot peel was a bit better but the polymer feel was horrid.
I got the paper from a company called Halcyon
