Re: Vehicle signs

Post by Bob700 »

Hi
I will be looking for someone in the Glasgow area who can print graphics and lettering to a small van (transit connect size or similar) at a price that won't kill me, I am looking for the right van and would probably need the signage done in the next couple of weeks, leaflets and business cards will also be required

Thanks

You could probably buy a small cutter ( if you don't have one) for the cost of the graphics. There are plenty of 'how to' videos on youtube showing you how to apply them yourself. Wth a bit of trial and error it is easy to do, on flat sided vans.
Alternatively there are plenty of signmakers on ebay who will supply cheap diy graphics or there is a company in Glasgow called Stickalex who are always advertising on Facebook.

If you have the graphics applied by a sign shop then you are doubling the price ( at least).

If you don’t have any luck here I can give you the details for someone I have used in the past.

I think he’s looking for someone to do it for him rather than do it himself?

Are you happy to fit it yourself or do you need it fitting?
The latter would be an issue as you would need someone local and prices will be high o expect.

Never having done it I'd prefer to have it done by a pro

You might struggle to find someone cheap that’s local.
