TBH even at the price you've mentioned, I'd still use them. There should be plenty of profit to allow for this unless you're selling mugs at £1.99 printed.
This is the pricing from xpres. Image

DSF members get 10% off xpres, free postage over £100 with no mug postage surcharge and most of us are vat registered. So for us the best mug out there is 91p.

Yeah great if your willing to spend £100 in one go. But those that buy one or two packs of mugs lose out on that offer.

My query was whether or not the Coralgraph price included VAT as that would make them £23/61 nett which is a fair difference if you are buying say a box at a time.

Just bought some xp5103 mugs from xpres . I'm not impressed. Infact I feel deceived.
I bought some 10 ounce mugs from coralgraph last week handles are smaller in comparison to the 11 ounce but they print brilliantly.
So I thought I'd buy some mugs from expres to see the difference.
In short there is no difference. They are both called Wycombe mugs , they are both coated the same , the handles are the same size as the coralgraph mugs. They are the same .
Difference is the massive price for the xpres mugs . I've paid £51 for the xpres mugs as you can see from my screen shot in an above post.
Coralgraph £38 Inc vat and delivery.

So I've had listawood mugs = rubbish tat
Signzworld mugs = hit and miss
Coralgraph 11oz = excellent
Coralgraph 10oz = brilliant
Expres 5103 10oz = expensive plus the same as colagraph 10oz

Pick coralgraph save yourself 12 quid.

What dishwasher tests have you done on these mugs? They're certainly not the same mug, I can assure you.

Remember if you were a DSF Premium Member you get a better rate.

As Justin has pointed out, dishwasher tests are very important to ensure the product you are selling is fit for purpose. I think you may be jumping to conclusions, but please do the tests, if only for your own peace of mind. I remember my first boxes of mugs from ebay - they faded in weeks! My sister has a few left that I gave her and they're virtually pure white again! Yet, they looked great when first printed.

Strangely, although you say they are crap, I have Listawood mugs that have been heavily dish-washed for 4 years now and they are as good as the day I first made them.

Guys what do we know - this new member has obviously got all the answers and so the experience based on 6 years of printing tens of thousands of mugs for customers is all for nothing now. Mugs are all the same if they look the same and the cheaper the better. Ooooo - must of missed a trick here! ;-)

No need to be facetious.
