That is a big premium for true black toner and slightly larger paper size. The early adopters are going to pay a lot for this printer.

That's right.
If someone is doing tees only, then that printer would be a waste - better to go for an F2100.
Must be a lot of profit in that printer.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a good CMYK DTG printer @ 320x500 print area for £2500-£3000. I will be waiting forever.
Might go to £5000 for CMYKW.

Or maybe I'm just tight as a gnat's chuff.

Oki do boast that toner & consumables cost less per print on their more costly printers ....
