SG500 refillable ink

Hi just interested to know if anyone is using an SG500 with refillable inks?

I have SG400 printers that I use refillable cartridges with but would like to know if the SG500 can be used in the same way as I know Sawgrass have added software updates which cause lines across the page when using the Sawgrass Print Manager for the colour profiling?

i know you can use a manually input icc colour profile but I do feel Sawgrass colour profiles give a much better print in comparison so would like to use the Sawgrass Print Manager if it possible to do so with refillable ink.

All I can tell you, it is a good printer. However the inks do not last very long.
