I have just started out in the sublimation world , l was given an Epson x345 printer but I am having issues with the quality of prints. I have run many cleaning cycles but only seen a slight improvement.
My question is - Do I persevere and try and clean all the tubes from the continuous ink system or just take the hit and purchase a new one, what would the recommendation be as an upgrade from this model.
One other thought , I have an old P50 photo jet could this be turned into a sublimation printer.

Re: Printer advice
After the first 3 cleans you're just wasting ink, it won't improve, general advice is to do a couple of cleans, 3 max and then unplug and leave for 24 hours.
Personally I wouldn't waste my time (just my opinion)
If the Epson P50 has a perfect nozzle check then yes, you could use sublimation ink. I've had a P50 previously and have recently bought the L805 which is basically a P50 with ecotanks, exellent printers.
