Re: Monitoring Multiple Email Accounts

Like many these days we seem to have quite a number of email addresses to monitor. I've always just had all the accounts loaded to my phone, email etc. but started to wonder if there's a more efficient way to do this. Pain in the bum setting up a new phone lol.

I know some folk use just one address and forward everything to it, returning emails using different addresses.

I looked at keeping everything online, Outlook etc. so that I just access everything in my browser rather than install on individual PC's

Interested in know what other people use?

I use Outlook Exchange.

This means that my desktop can have multiple email accounts across a range of domain names and I can select which account I want to respond to emails at the click of a button.

It also helps me for organising. One of my accounts is “accounts@“ which services all invoices etc which I look at on a weekly basis when I catch up on boom work. Obviously merging this with others would mean the potential to lose important emails.

I use exchange so that the emails are synchronised with all my devices meaning that if I respond/delete/send an email from my iPhone/iPad/laptop/desktop it synchronises with all of them.

I use gmail becuase it's probably the most secure system out there. It has a top class anti spam filter and an instant notifier. All accounts get forwarded to the one master email account.

We have our own domain, and then multiple email address on that - one for each staff member, one for each platform noths@ etsy@ etc, orders@ and then for clients who we manufacturer for they have an address for their orders too ... then each PC then syncs with the server using Outlook (desktop client not outlook.com) using IMAP (rather than POP), so everything stays on the server and all the machines are in sync with each other
