Re: A3+ printer??

Post by Printcess Jen »

Hi there,

I have been using my ricoh gxe7700 since day dot and it’s been very good to me.
I also use the bypass tray to print A3+ size paper which is vital for my business.

now I know this printer has been discontinued and I think i need to invest in a new printer pretty soon and I’m struggling to find anything on the market that caters for A3+ size.

can anyone help me?

ET14000 or L1800 are the main Epson/non sawgrass options.

We use the amazing Epson P800 which can take A3+ but also a 17" paper roll (which is what we use) - the print head is amazing and does really fine detail. We still use this for smaller items such as keyrings where fine detail is needed as opposed to the 24" Epson 7800 that is our work horse. P800 also sold by Ink Experts.

Another p800 user here though this is a2!. I upgraded from the p600 last year which again was great and will do a3+ as well as a roll feed of 13" if you can find that

Hi, the L1800 / ET14000 are currently our standard A3 / A3+ packages. We can supply SC-P600 on a special order basis. All 3 are great options for A3+ sublimation printing.

Will these also take pigment ink for t-shirt heat pressing?

Yes they can be used with pigment inks or DTG inks if required. Custom ICC profile(s) would be require to help colour match but other than that, yes.

I bought the L805 from you for sublimation and it's been good.

For pigment heat transfer onto cotton tees, which is better: the L1800 or the ET14000?
Do you sell the pigment inks, or if not then could you recommend someone?
