How long can you leave an SG400 turned off for?

I’m planning to buy an SG400 but don’t plan to print more than once a week. I’ve read most places to say to leave the printer on standby constantly but I don’t really want something turned on when not in use 24/7 and being a fire hazard. So will turning it off for a week at a time cause issues?

Our SG400 is not used sometimes for weeks on end, even months but still works okay however on occasion we've needed to run off some solid colour prints to get the heads all firing well without any banding, ideally you'd use it more regularly though left on doing cleaning cycles will just eat the ink.

I have left my SG400 turned off and unused for around 2 months in the past (I wouldn't recommend it really) but it is still functioning perfectly and didn't even require a head clean. Possibly luck on our part but I do find the RICOH and Sawgrass printers to be very reliable in that sense.

I turn mine on and off as I need to use it. It never gets left on and I've never had a problem.
