I'm planning to upgrade the forum to the latest version of the software. This will bring a number of improvements as it's not just an update it's a complete new version. I'll explain in more detail as plans progress. The new forum will look similar but has a much better interface that can be customised more to suit us.
It will take a little time to plan everything to ensure a smooth transition.
I've started looking at other ideas for the forum. Adding a classifieds section is one idea where you can advertise your used hardware, suppliers can offer ex-display, used equipment and so on.
If you have any other suggestions please let me know and I can look into this whilst planning. We've often discussed a tutorial section, mainly for new members but never got going on this. If that's something you think may be valuable again, please let me know.
Forum Update, upgrades, new sections etc.

Sounds great Justin. Deleting very old threads or at least removing sold listings as well as ones over 6 months perhaps.

The sold listings could perhaps be removed. However, I'm not fully for removing old threads as there is still useful information there and good SEO for the forum.
