black not back more like grey

my first post, brought a ricoh sg2100 which was faulty,finally got it working took a while
so i have loaded the icc that came with it but the black is printing grey any help would be great

also seems like the red is to purple but the purple is to red if that makes sense

i have but it was before i put the icc install and was even worse than these

The colours on the printed paper won't always reflect the final printed colours. What inks are you using?

Are you using CMYK or RGB colourspace. Always use RGB.

Do you have a nozzle check pattern from the printer you could post?

The test images appears to be banded which points towards one of the nozzles not firing correctly.

If you can send the image of the nozzles I'll try to troubleshoot from there.

thanks for the reply

ive just fired it up and the waste tank is full, i uses a lot of cyan little magenta but hardly any yellow could this be to blocked nozzles


once i got this clearded ill do the nozzle print check

Definitely sounds like blocked nozzles.

Any joy with a new waste tank yet?
