HI folks,
I am getting this error on my ricoh 3110, been ok up till now. Im doing a job and always check the heads, cleaned the red/yellow 4 times still missing some lines. I then decided to do a head flush as cleaning wasnt working. During the flush, the error 20224 popped up and to call service etc. I have turned the printer on and off but still getting it?
Any ideas?
Ricoh 20224 error
Re: Ricoh 20224 error
I think this may be something to do with carts. i have been using sub ink from ink express for a while and its been fine. I have refilled the magenta but still saying that the cart is empty and now getting error 20200 then 20224....stumped

These are the error codes in the Ricoh Service Manual. Not very descriptive, so make of them what you will!
Are the carts seated properly, and have the ventilation plugs been removed?

Re: Ricoh 20224 error
HI there, thanks for the reply and your help, yes plugs on the carts have one hole free so yes they can breath ok and are seated properly. I have done the head cleans etc so i've now turned the printer off, i wlll check it again in a bit but so far after every reboot im getting the same thing.webtrekker;140025 wrote:
