hi could you advise me on a press for doing slate and chopping boards at a budget but reliable ,i have a epson ecotank et 14000

Hi Libbymmc,
You have many choices, alot depends on your budget. A simple pixmax swing press is about £200-£250 or a uk press a little less (both have 2yr warranty). The good quality presses cost mega £££ and imo are not worth it. Just buy a heat temperature gun to check the heat temperature is correct and adjust accordingly.
