my 1st batch i printed out was really good
the 2nd batch looked the same until it was pressed then it went a bit streaky
what causes that?
is it because i didn't leave it in long enough
or the wrong heat
or was it the printer?
the images looked exactly the same on the paper

Re: printing quality
Press could be too hot try reducing temp to 185 - 190 c, I normally press Cork backed and Fabric Coasters at 185 c for 45 seconds and they turn out OK

Re: printing quality
do you use teflon paper?
i;ve heard that greaseproof is just as good so i'll grab some from the shop and try it with that also

Re: printing quality
My press has a teflon coated heatplate, the only time I've used a sheet of Teflon Paper is when I printed a few White Ts with Transfers for a friend, I have heard that Normal Greaseproof Paper can be used, but as I have never used it I wouldn't recomend it.

Re: printing quality
Anything that goes in my heat press has a sheet of greaseproof paper on it, saves the colours bleeding back to the platen, as happened a few times hence why I now use the paper as the teflon sheet was too thick and the colours didn't come out as vibrant.
