Just wondering if you guys know of any alternative methods of placing wording on fleece materials? Most vinyls can't be used!

A lot depends on the pil of the fleece.
If you have access to a solvent printer and heavier printable vinyl then you can get an emblem to stick on micro fleece. You need a lot of presure, and a small platen/press pad behind the emblem.

Cut letters are hit and miss. They don't stick well enough to sell the jacket.

Sublimation on light colours?

We sublimate white fleece no problems, although find lower temps work better than higher, at slower speed on the rotary - 160-170 degrees. If 180-190 then the print doesn't take as well and the pile melts/squashes too much.
Don't make up many products from fleece, as mainly use velvets and satins.

Thanks guys for the hints.

The fleeces in question are a fluorescent orange and the writing would be in navy - maybe sublimation is an option.

Thanks for that. What temp, pressure & time did you use?

Ah, sorry - thought you meant printing onto raw poly fleece, not onto made up fleeces!

(was about to say to sub the fleece all over to be orange with the navy blue design blue)

but yeah, assuming you're not too picky about getting the right shade of blue you should be able to sub on top of the orange (disperse?) dye already on the fleece.

I dropped the temp back to 190 and pressed for 70 secs, using Texprint XPHR.
