The stahls hotronix maxx cap press is great and you can chance the bottom platens to suit different style caps, a bit more than their basic model cap press, but as said features the option to change it a bit.

Re: Cap heat press
I purchased the ball press from Coralgraph and have to say, the one I have is very well made and very sturdy. Mine came with a cap press platen as well as the ball press so you might want to give them a call and make sure this is still the case.
I will point out that although it is very well made and I think is probably very durable, I have only used it a handful of times so can not guarantee it

Re: Cap heat press
That Galaxy Pluto range ( cap and flat presses) looks 'almost' identical to the Stahls basic range - which is made in China.

Re: Cap heat press
Hi socialgiraffe, does your press look like the image in the link below, and also what is the size of the cap press platen too please?

Im also looking at a Bluewave Cap Heat Press on ebay (£99), the press will be used for inside garment labels and outside small htv on my t-shirts, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated too.

The flat platen is 120 mm x 120mm
I have a small pocket press made by HIX that I picked up from Listawood. Pretty sure they do not sell it anymore but you are the second person who wants something similar, might be worth giving Chris a call and see if he can get hold of more of them. That press is 160 wide x 90 deep.
