Hi everyone, I'm Rick and I'm fairly new to the Dye Sublimation world.

Last year at one of our local craft shows, I noticed a lot of people putting phottographs on aluminum and I was very impressed. After doing a little bit of research, I found out how they do it and decided it would be fun to get into it myself, really as a hobby.

So I bought a heat press and an Epson WF7710 printer, some sample blanks, an ink tank system and some inks.

I successfully printed a few samples from pictures I'd taken before getting my printer clogged up. Then it sat silent for 9 months because cleaning the Epson print heads seemed to be a bit of a PITA. I've got that behind me and just started getting back into it, recently getting my printer configured better and trying some photos on tin and glass, with success!

Not sure what my long term goals are but it's pretty cool!

Hi Rick. I thought Id post these links for you. They are on Facebook but based in the US with lots of info about how to do things and where to find suppliers over there.
This forum ( Dyesubforum) also has some amazing information but I thought a US link might be of help to you.
The white toner link also has some help with Sublimation.
