Re: Royal Mail compatible label printer

Hi, finally signed up and sorted with RM after much kerfuffle, now need the final part in the jigsaw, sorting out the printer. I currently use a brother P-Touch but it is not big enough for the RM printing.

Suggestions for printer models and where to buy please, ebay seems awash with RM Compatible printers, but seems a minefield of preowned machines.

Contact your Royal Mail account manager, who will send you a discount code for the Zebra GK420D thermal label printer they recommend. Otherwise, the refurbished model of this sells well on ebay,

Thanks Gary, I must say the account manager has been most helpful so far, but he is away at the moment, and said that he will happily give me training if i need it as the videos they make can be hard to understand.

yup, look for the 2nd hand Zebra 420 or 450 on Ebay - expect to pay about £50 all in ... if buying used, make sure the power supply is included (it's built in to the 450)
