I use aluminium sheet but not Wunderboard. Have you seen the price of that stuff?

They appear to be slightly cheaper than Chromalux.....unless I am looking at the wrong things.
Xpres 10 pack Chromalux 304mm by 457mm is £114.50
Dysubsupplies 10 pack Wunderboard 12" by 18" is £97.50

I'm comparing it to normal aluminium sheet from Sublimetals which produces nice looking prints for me at a fraction of the price.
Admittedly, the Wunderboard is thicker, but is that not just an unnecessary feature? However, having never tried it before, I may be missing something.

Orders some, sent it straight back. Reverse was badly scratched and marked. i was told this didn't matter as it wouldn't be seen!
There is a new metal coming out that should be far better to work with.

Re: Wunderboard...anybody using it?
I have some Wunderboard sent by the distributor Adkins. I don't really print onto white gloss, so I've yet to try it out.
I also have some 1mm aluminium from Longstar which isn't readily available in the UK. My initial impressions is that it is not up to standard (that was a very long wait to find out!) The Sublimetals material is far too thin to sell at any reasonable markup. My last batch of Chromaluxe was poor, so its difficult to recommend any sub metal. The link I sent earlier about the subli acrylic; well they also do aluminium which I've yet to try.
