I'll place an order hopefully over the next couple of days, if not Monday.
One other thing, I use both Photoshop and Illustrator. I would assume the ICC profile would work for both as they are both Adobe products, or is it a case of different apps requiring different ICC profiles? It's not a major issue as I could just import into Photoshop, but it would save a step.

@Justin You're right, the only difference is the screen. All the other internals are the same so if it saves you a few quid I'd say go with the 2600 as there really won't be any difference in speed or quality.
@Beehousedesigns No worries with the compatibility. The ICC files will work in any editor so you won't need new profiles for each app you use. They're a one stop solution luckily.
