Big hello to everyone on the forum, I'm Gemma!

I've done many crafts over the years, but now looking to dip my toe into the world of sublimation for that more professional look. I've enjoyed looking through some of the questions on the forum and already found some answers to my (many!) questions, so thank you everyone!

I had the pleasure of meeting Justin at Printwear & Promotion on Tuesday (Hi Justin!). You were such a great source of advice and encouragement and I'm now really excited to get cracking and buy some new toys.

Hopefully I won't ask too many silly questions, but apologies to anyone if I do, hehe!

Thanks so much, Gemma

Thanks all for the hellos!

Quinsfan, very local then! I see in your signature you're using the A4 Ricoh, are you pleased with it? I'm torn between that and the Sawgrass SG400, struggling to make a decision. What software do you use with the Ricoh?

Thank you!

The Sawgrass SG 400 is the same machine. Just tweaked by Sawgrass and rebranded. I would get the Sawgrass but look at alternative inks for costs.

Thanks Iain... yeah I think I'm leaning more towards the Sawgrass as I like that it comes with the software and has had the tweaks. But I also like the look of the Sublisplash inks from Dye Sub Supplies, or also Inktec to save some money, so just not sure if those inks are compatible with the Sawgrass machine? Or is that a silly question?!

Cheers!
