Re: Mug Wraps

Post by robhil »

I have been using the green wraps in a halogen, but periodically have to bend the clip with a pair of pliers, so have lost a couple of mugs with the wrap opening mid cook.
Would be interested in any better wraps.

Maybe little of the topic but how often do I need to change that wrap if I use mug press?
Maybe there are some approximate number of mugs that I can do with one wrap?
Sorry, i think I a missing something with your question.

You do not need a silicon wrap (which is what we are discussing here) if you are using a mug press.

If you are referring to the mug blanket in your machine then you replace that when it no longer is good for your mugs. Most blanks last 500+ mugs depending on the style you print.

If you are thinking of switching then your question has already been answered in this thread.
