Tech help needed
Re: Tech help needed
Sublinova Smart inks are suitable for direct print or transfer print sublimation - so you can run the fabric straight through the printer and apply the ink directly, or you can use transfer paper. They are formulated to be used in printers, not painted with.I would echo other points raised above, that you shouldn't need a coated fabric - pure polyester is perfect for sublimation inks. In fact, depending on the coating, this could be hindering your efforts too - I've tried a number of polyurethanes for sublimation printing with VERY mixed results.sublimation paper isn't designed to handle a lot of ink/water - so you may try a heavier paper to carry your ink painting
