Morning all
For some while we've been using a glitter vinyl from Grafityp on our Roland BN20 however, after heat pressing it seems to lose a lot of it's sparkle.
Just interested to know whether any of you guys use a similar product and what results you get?
Cheers
John

Used it years ago and hate it. It was really glittery though and ruined the knife in the machine. But it didnt lose its glitter. Cant remember the make but it was from one of the big guys, Chemica or Polytape.

We've used the siser printable, nice idea but damn thick stuff and doesn't really give the sparkle effect you want from a glitter, we use coloured holographic for that sparkle effect, generally cheaper than glitters and looks great especially under stage lighting

I think it's Siser glitter we're using and yes, it's quite thick!
I'm guessing the holographic you refer to is not printable?

No it's not, well,,, you can try it, just because it doesn't mean it can't be but no it's not made for that purpose. I've not looked too hard for glitter printable as I don't really see how ink over the glitter can really work as well as normal unprintable glitter. We just a had a go at it to see. I was just mentioning holographic as its generally less expensive than glitter vinyls

Hi John. As an alternative have you thought of using the T.One paper and foil from The Magic Touch? Its not totally glittery but near enough. https://www.themagictouch.co.uk/product ... fer-paper/
Forever have a similar system too.
